The purpose of the project is to provide the necessary amount of water for the water supply system Trzin and adequate supply of drinking-quality water. With these activities, it also ensures fire safety and water measurement in the system of the Municipality of Trzin. At the same time the project provides sufficient quantities of drinking water for new connections in areas, where new individual residential buildings in the village Trzin are planned.

The project included the construction of 1,780 meters of pipeline, of which 1,446 meters of water supply pipeline stretches between the pumping stations ČR4 - ČR5 - Trzin and 334 meters in the village Trzin between Jemčeva Cesta – Ljubljanska Cesta. A section of the water supply network between is positioned between the existing wells ČR4 and ČR5 on Mengeš Field and is connected to the village Trzin under Mengeška Cesta on the road at Grajska Cesta to Jemčeva Cesta. The water supply network on Mengeška Cestais connected to the network, built during the reconstruction of the Mengeška Cesta (not the subject of this project), the pipeline on Jemčeva Cesta is connected to the existing water supply. The second section of the connecting water supply is connected to Mengeška Cesta to the existing water supply network. The pipeline route continues west along the connector Jemčeva Cesta to the main Jemčeva Cesta, which made the connection of the existing water supply. It then turns south and runs parallel to the stream Pšata, on the eastern slope outside against Ljubljanska Ulica. The flow of the water storage Trzin is 42 l / s. The system enables the measurement of outflows in the municipality of Trzin practically at one point, so that it is interrupted and that the drain on the pipeline towards Domžale is closed by a valve.
