The municipality of Moravče is currently upgrading its water supply system

Within the project, which also includes municipalities of Kamnik, Domžale, Trzin and Mengeš, 6,004 meters of waterproof pipelines, 4 pumping stations and 2 reservoirs will be built in the municipality of Moravče. In 2014 a water distribution system Podbrdo - Grmače - Dešen was built within the project, for which the municipality obtained a use permit and thus handed over the management to the public utility company Prodnik d. o. o. In this water supply section a pump installation was carried out on an existing reservoir Podbrdo, which pumps water to a newly built reservoir Grmače. Thus, also a connecting water supply system between the two reservoirs with length of 560 meters was built. In addition, the construction of the Grmače reservoir with pump station for pumping water into the water storage Miklavž and a reconstruction of the pumping station Hrib into the facility for pressure control and an electrification of the reservoir Miklavž were carried out. Currently, there are works being carried out on a pipeline Soteska - Podstran - Dole pri Krašcah.
