Šmartno v Tuhinju – the works on the facilities of the water supply pumping station and reservoir continue. Due to the works of the water system, in some areas of the road can be found occasional closures

In the area of Tuhinj Valley and Volčji Potok the works associated with the construction of additional kilometres of water supply pipeline and related facilities are going on. One of the important tasks of both the local community as well as the country and the European Union is to provide water of adequate quality.  Since the major part of the project will be funded by the grant of the European Cohesion Fund, the successful completion of the project for the construction of primary pipeline between Vrhpolje and Šmartno v Tuhinju and other parts of the county is crucial.

Due to the works, many areas need the occasional (partial) closures of roads. For some time now, works have been carried out on the regional road from Kamnik to Ločica, where pipeline DN 150 is being placed.  The sections of regional road, where works are carried out, are slowly but steadily moving towards Šmartno v Tuhinju - currently mainly in the area of Soteska. At the same time regulation of the agricultural areas is going on sections, where the construction is completed. The construction works, among others, are still going on in the area of Lok in Šmartno v Tuhinju. In the area of Arboretum Volčji Potok was at the same time as the ensuring of proper water supply system, also carried out rehabilitation of roads by the construction of the pavement, which will significantly contribute to greater safety in the area.
